To date, I have applied to CVS, Walgreens, Walmart, Dollar General, Subway, Sweetbay, Wachovia, Staples, Target, Publix, Blockbuster, several local restaruants and bakeries, several Vet's offices, Michael's, Burlington, Big Lots, the Green Iguana, several greenhouses, the Civil Service department for the state of Florida (which required testing), countless Craigslist postings, and many local colleges and libraries. I have recieved five letters similar to the following which I recieved from Staples: 

"Dear Lizbeth,

Thank you for your interest in Career Opportunities at Staples!

We have reviewed your resume as it relates to the 833139 Administrative Assistant - Tampa, FL and while we are impressed with your accomplishments, we are continuing our search for candidates whose skills and experience more closely align with the requirements for the position and our business needs at this time."

When did I become overqualifed for the average job? When did a degree make a person less likely to find employement?
